File Transfers

Using the option of Electronic File Transfer gives you the ability to send files to us via this website. There are only a few simple steps that are needed.

UPLOAD/TRANSFER FILES

You will need to have a password assigned before you can upload a file. If you do not already have one, please email us to request one.

If you already have a password, please click here to proceed to the upload file area.

SUPPORTED FORMATS

We support both MAC and PC Platforms but we prefer MAC whenever possible. The applications we support are:

Quark Xpress 5.0 & 6.0 Abode PageMaker 7.0 Adobe Illustrator 10.0 Adobe Photoshop 6.0 & 7 Adobe Indesign 1.5 & 2.0 MacroMedia Freehand 10.0 Corel Draw 9.0 & 11.0

BEFORE SAVING AND SENDING FILES, MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOU HAVE INCLUDED:

Fonts - Printer and screen fonts (Even for support files and linked files). All EPS and TIFF files All Photoshop Layered images. All original files that create Quark and Freehand EPS files. High Rez scans in High Rez folder. Low Rez scans in Low Rez folder. Bleeds - Images or color that go to the edge of trim should extend past trim by 1/8" minimum. CMYK scans (RGB scans should be converted to CMYK). JPEG scans should be put in JPEG folder or expanded to CMYK EPS files. We can RIP and output PDF and Postscript files - we can not edit these files. PDF files do not support spot colors at this time. Resolution should be set by the designer to the highest setting. Fonts should be imbedded in the PDF file.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Please make certain you have included a laser proof and print out of the menu of the files that are saved on your disc. Duotones should be created in Photoshop (Not QuarkXpress). Scans should be rotated in Photoshop (Not QuarkXpress). Truetype fonts should not be used. If possible we will convert truetype fonts to postscript level 1 fonts. When uploading files via E-Mail or FTP (through our Web Site) files should be compressed, using a self extracting compression software, especially fonts. When sending Corel Draw, Illustrator or Freehand files - convert all fonts to paths and save as an EPS file.
